Yes, Christmas is widely celebrated in Africa by Christian every year December 25 as the birth  of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

Sure, Christmas had been a tradition for us as African, especially Christian. One of the reasons why we African celebrate this day is that we believed that this day is set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who is our savor.
